Here's the link on MOFGA: http://www.mofga.org/Resources/CommunitySupportedAgricultureinMaine/CSAsByCounty/CSAsinKnoxCounty/tabid/783/Default.aspx?PageContentID=170

It doesn't say anything about vegs in the winter. I'll have to call. Jenna said it's called "Winter Roots and Fruits."

Holly,

Thanks for getting in touch.  A brochure file for the Winter CSA is attached.  It does not read well in html, but is clear if you download it.

Basically, the Winter Roots and Fruits CSA provides you with a monthly delivery of a core of root crops including potatoes (approx. 8lbs), carrots (5lbs), onions (3lbs), garlic (.5lbs) and additional crops depending on the time of year.  At the beginning of the share season you will see the most diversity (winter squash, leeks, kale, cabbage, apples, cranberries, etc.) with the share slimming down to the core bunch by the March drop-off.

The Omnivore Special option does not include the roots and fruits - it is strictly meat, bread, and cheese.  The details of this are outlined pretty clearly in the brochure.

I will deliver to Rockland and you are also welcome to pick up at the farm in Washington.  I expect the monthly delivery to take place on the 2nd Monday of the month.

Any questions, please feel free to call or write.
I hope to solidify the number of shares signed-up in the next three weeks.  Currently there is plenty of space available.

Thanks for your interest,
Beth
